Morgat, a seaside resort
Morgat used to be a small tuna and sardine fishing village in the commune of Crozon. Thanks to its exceptional, protected location, Morgat has become a popular holiday resort. Its pretty, colourful facades facing the sea give it a very special charm. Water activities and water sports have pride of place here: surfing, kayaking, windsurfing, sailing, yachting, fishing, etc. Its charming hotels, splendid seaside resort villas, lively town centre and marina make Morgat the ideal place for a holiday on the Crozon peninsula.
Camaret-sur-Mer
A small seaside resort at the end of the Crozon peninsula, Camaret-sur-Mer will charm you with its tranquillity and its artists’ district. Take a stroll along the Quai Gustave Toudouz, the small marina or the natural dyke, also known as the Sillon, and admire the Vauban Tower. Built at the end of the 17th century and listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 2008, the Vauban Tower is open to visitors.
The artists’ district
Located in Camaret-sur-Mer, the artists’ district, or Saint-Thomas district, is packed with art galleries and artists’ studios. The artists, who fell in love with the area and settled here in 1992, welcome you and exhibit their work for a colourful cultural stroll. Their doors are open to you every day from 15 June to 15 September, as well as at weekends out of season.
Crozon
In the heart of the Presqu’Île, the small town of Crozon is well worth a visit. With its shops, beautiful church and market, the village of Crozon is one of the places to visit on the Presqu’Île. Take a stroll through the heart of the village, and push open the doors of the church, where you can admire a polychrome altarpiece dating from the early 17th century.
